PROTECTING THE FUTURE OF HORTICULTURE

Come on Britain, Let's Get Growing Again!

ABOUT US

At GrowNation, we’re helping the great British public get back into the garden and our great British commercial growers and garden centres get back to business.

These are certainly strange times we’re living through. But how wonderful it is to see everyone pulling together as one to protect our friends, families, neighbours and the heroes working at the sharp end of the pandemic.

Over 40% of Brits think of themselves as gardeners, and over half a million of us work in the horticulture industry. That’s a lot of very frustrated green fingers and thumbs, especially at this time of year!

With garden centres across England, Wales and Northern Ireland reopening and beginning to experience first-hand just what the “new normal” means for footfall and sales, many are doing their best to offer local delivery services where they can. Partly to support the community but also to help protect over 650 amazing UK commercial growers, whose businesses are currently at risk.

We’ve built this marketplace to bring gardeners and garden centres together. We’ll all have to wait a while before we can go back to spending time browsing around our local centre, taking in the displays and enjoying days out with the family, but that doesn’t mean we can’t support them and get hold of what we need for our homes, gardens, balconies or window boxes.

Our platform is being supported by the horticulture industry, from the top of the supply chain all the way to you, the gardeners who’ve supported us for all these years.

New products, garden centres and nurseries are being added all the time, giving you back the opportunity to brighten up your outdoors, grow some veg and benefit from the amazing physical and mental wellbeing that gardening provides.

Using GrowNation is simple. First, find your favourite local centre using our store finder. If your favourite’s not on GrowNation yet, drop them a message to tell them you’d be buying from them if you could! Otherwise, choose the nearest centre to you.

Each garden centre will have a unique range of products available for sale, which you can order with click & collect or they can deliver locally to your doorstep. Simply choose whatever you like, add it to your basket, pay securely online and you order will be processed in no time!

When your order is ready to be despatched or collected, you’ll get a message by email or text. If you’ve chosen click & collect at checkout, simply visit your local garden centre at your designated time slot, show your order confirmation email and have your products brought out to your car!

If you’ve selected Home Delivery, the delivery agent will leave your order at your door and withdraw to a safe distance to check that you’ve heard them knock or ring the doorbell.

Be sure to give them a friendly wave as they head back to their van to brighten up the next customer’s day, they really appreciate it!
